櫻井佑樹（さくらいゆうき）SAKURAI Yuki

1985年生まれ。てんびん座。

母と兄の影響で和太鼓が身近にある環境で育つ。

７歳から本格的に和太鼓を始め、地域のお祭りなどでも演奏を披露。

高校卒業後、和太鼓集団「鼓童」の研修生になる。

のちに国内・海外ツアーを経験。

退団後は芸能事務所アミューズが手掛ける

昭和歌謡レビュー劇団「虎姫一座」の創立メンバーとして活動。

浅草の専用劇場にて連日公演し通算３０００回以上の公演に出演。

その活動は和太鼓奏者だけにとどまらず、

歌にダンス、演技と多岐にわたる。

2019年独立。自身の活動20周年にあたり2024年7月、

公式ウェブサイトをオープン。

SAKURAI Yuki was born in 1985, in Japan. His Zodiac sign is Libra.  Influenced by his mother and older brother who both were drum players, he grew up with Japanese drums.  He started playing Japanese drums at the age of 7, and performing at local festivals.  After graduating from high school, he became a trainee at a Japanese drum group Kodo, and experienced domestic and international tours. 

After leaving the group, Yuki belonged to an entertainment agency Amuse, and became a founding member of the Showa Kayo Revue Theater Company “Torahime Ichiza”.  The company performed every day at a dedicated theater in Asakusa, Japan and he have appeared in over 3,000 performances in total. His role was not limited to play Japanese drums, but also included a wide variety of activities of singing, dancing, and acting.

Yuki became an independent entertainer in 2019.  In July 2024, his official web site was launched, marking the 20th anniversary of his career.
